Hi there,

I live in Germany and I'm 25 years old. I was born on 01.14.1985 in the unknown city of Dormagen in NRW (Nordrhein - Westfalen). Then I've lived in the small town of Erbach in Odenwald, Hessen for over 15 years. Since May 07 I live in the near of Dortmund in NRW again.

I have always been fascinated by beautiful, life-like portrait drawings. I'm a self taught artist and I have begun to draw in the year of 2004. My first portraits were not better than those of the other people who just startd to draw.

But I got better with time and practise and with every portrait I drew. However, I am not satisfied with my work yet, I still have a lot that I can learn. Nobody is perfect and you live and learn. You mustn't give up, the success will come sometime. Best of all I love to draw people who have impressed me with their work. But it depends on whether I find good reference photos which are suitable to draw portraits from. It's important that I choose a photo to work from, a good photo reference means that I can draw with joy, but it also means that I don't have to think too hard about where all those little annoying details are supposed to go.

Another hobby of mine is movies. I'm a huge film fanatic and I'm also a fan of well made TV shows. With TV shows, the storyline doesn't end after a few hours (like with films), it is continued episode by episode. Plus, you get to learn a lot more about the individual characters. For the same reasons I love to read long novels.

My fafourite TV shows are Supernatural, Star Trek: Enterprise, Prison Break, Stargate Atlantis, Criminal Minds, The Dead Zone, Eureka, The 4400, Life on Mars (BBC), ... and much more.
